Zhejiang World Brass Co., Ltd., located in Lupu Industrial Zone, Yuhuan, Zhejiang P.R. China., it was established in July 1999. It's a liability limited company, with the capital register of RMB25,080,000 and total capital of RMB85,000,000. We are mainly in producing and trading of valves, plastic items and fittings (with the material of hardware). We own more than 800 employees at present, includes 197 intendants and technicians, meantime 100 employees are qualified collegial diploma or above. We own 10 assembling and packing lines, 15 auto die-casting machines, 110 computerized machine tools, more than 600 instrumental tools and 1 computerized spectrum analyzer which is imported from Switzerland. We produce more than 45,000,000 pieces of brass valves with different kinds each year, and our main products are ball valve, check valve, globe valve, gate valve, bibcock, sanitary ware, flange valve, balance valve, pipe joint valve and boiler valve. 70% of our products are exported and the major markets are America, France, Italy, Spain and Egypt. We gained USD15,000, 000 from export in 2004 and it will reach USD30,000,000 in 2005.

From last year on, the price of the raw material and other costs are increasing rapidly, We are impacted a lot though our major markets are Europe and America. We adopt by the following in order to face the difficulties: Firstly, to enlarge the market of European and American, upgrade our products and increase the competitive ability and take the opportunity of the cooperation with the Global 500 companies, such as ITT, Leroy Merlin and Tecofi. Secondly, to raise the product competitive ability, the home brand and the rate of the marketing by introducing more experts in this field, paying more energy on technology and improvement, together with the absorption and the improvement of the design project and the market information of the famous companies to exploit more patents ( we have enrolled 13 internal brands and 5 international ones. Until April 2005, we have got 25 patents and the other 50 ones are declaring at the same time ). Thirdly, to share the resource and the information through establishing branches and offices abroad, getting the newly information of marketing, technology and material, and strengthening the cooperation with others.

Last year, the whole county achieved USD600,000,000 with the export of Sanitary ware and faucet, it is one of the major industries of Yuhuan. With the stable basis it is in the mature stage. The products are sold all over the world, and gain well reputations. Yuhuan was named as "The Capital of Valve in China" and "The Export Base of Hardware in China" by the National Light Industrial Association in 2003.
